  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads to Protect Exterior Corners;
  • Fill Joints, Nail Indentations, Holes and Cracks With Joint Compound Using Trowel and Broad Knife;
  • Tape Over Joints Using Taping Machine and Embed Tape in Compound;
  • Smooth Out Excess Compound and Allow Coat to Dry.

  • Secondary School
 
Experience requirements :::::

  • Minimum 5 Years Experience is required.

English Language Requirements :::::

  • Vocational

Additional Requirements :::::
  • Must Have a Journeyman's Certificate (or Equivalent) With a Min. of 5 Years Experience in The Trade;
  • Must be Physically Fit and Able to Stand For Most of The Shift;
  • Must Get along Well with Co-workers;
  • The Ability to Work Independently Would be a Definite Asset.

  • Assist Taper / Finisher to Perform His / Her Duties Which Include:
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads to Protect Exterior Corners;
  • Fill Joints, Nail Indentations, Holes and Cracks with Joint Compound Using Trowel and Broad Knife;
  • Tape Over Joints Using Taping Machine and Embed Tape in Compound;
  • Smooth Cut Excess Compound and Allow Coat to Dry;
  • Perform Other Laboring Activities as Directed by The Taper / Finisher;

  • No Formal Education
 
Experience requirements :::::

  • Minimum 3 Years Experience is required.

  • Must have Minimal English Skills to Communicate with Co-workers

  • This is an Unskilled Position. The Maximum Term of Employment is 24 Months. After 24 Months, The Worker must Leave Canada for at Least 4 Months before He can come back. The Option of Applying for a New Work Permit will Depend on the Employer.
