::: Changes from 1st July 2011

On 1st July, 2011 the changes were brought in the system and according to that the 29 NOC under which normal application could be made was continued by the Government, however the total number of application that would be received under this category from 1 st July, 2011 to 30 th June, 2012 would be limited to only 10000 as against 20000 earlier and total number of application in particular NOC would be limited to 500 only.

The number of applications received by the Central Processing Unit, Sydney, Nova Scotia, is displaced on cic.gc.ca. It is advisable to constantly keep watch on the number of applications received by the Central Processing Unit to avoid delays which could bounce your application by Central Processing Unit if the cap of 500 applications is reached.

You are required to score total 67 points out of total 100 points under Federal Skilled Worker Category.

As explained above you are not required to have HRSDC AEO if your occupation is falling under any of the NOC listed in 29 occupation category and if your occupation is not falling under 29 NOC, you cannot proceed with the application unless you have Arranged employment offer from Canadian Employer duly revalidated by HRSDC. In other words you are required to have HRSDC AEO in order to proceed with the application under this category if your occupation is not falling under list of 29 NOC. However if you are not able to reach 67 points as per the requirement even if you are falling under 29 NOC listed for Normal Category you can take help of HRDC AEO which will help you adding up to 15 points to your application.
