Express Entry: Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Criteria

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is a points-based system that we use to assess and score your profile and rank it in the Express Entry pool.

Important Notice

As of March 25, 2025, job offer points have been removed from the Comprehensive Ranking System for current and future candidates in the Express Entry pool.

A. Core / Human Capital Factors

How the 500-point cap works

Without a spouse: maximum 500 core points. With a spouse: maximum 460 core + 40 spouse = 500. Either way, Section A + B can never exceed 500.

500 (Core + Spouse) + 100 (Skill Transferability) + 600 (PNP Nomination)
