What you need to apply for Malta's Nomad Residence Permit.
Proof of remote employment, freelance contracts, or business ownership with clients/employers outside Malta. The work must be location-independent.
Stable monthly income of at least EUR 2,700 (EUR 32,400 annually). Verified through contracts, invoices, bank statements, or tax returns.
Comprehensive health insurance valid in Malta covering the entire duration of your stay. Must include hospitalization and emergency care.
Proof of stable accommodation - rental agreement, property purchase, or confirmed long-term booking. Must be suitable for your family size.
This permit is for non-EU nationals only. EU citizens can live and work in Malta freely. Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond intended stay.
